Dear Mr. Whitaker,

I am in receipt of your letter dated May 22nd, 1996, which letter you begin by saying, “thank you for the inquiry dated Oct. 13, 1995.”

Having read my Oct. 13th letter earlier this morning, I do not see that it was an inquiry. My Oct. 13th letter is a statement of the fact that I believe, in view of my experiences with IRS, that it would be morally wrong for me to participate in your/IRS activities again.

If you have lost my 1987 return, as indeed you lost my 1984 return in the past, that is another of your problems which you need to address.

I am sending you copies of various letters which I have written, the contents of which you should consider. These letters are: three from last December, the 9th, 11th, and 12th, to Don Boroughs, U.S.News & World Report, and one to Bruce Babbitt, Department of the Interior.

Sincerely,
Karen Kline
