Dear Mr. Gergen,

I enjoy your segment of the News Hour very much. (I wish I had their address so that I could write and tell them.)

As a result of watching your dialogue with Mr. Goleman, the Emotional I.Q. man, whose name I found particularly appropriate, I was the first person in Santa Fe to request his book at the public library.

Enclosed is a letter to Mr. Cisneros, HUD, who appeared on Montel. In the letter I mention your dialogue last week, with a man whose name I’ve forgotten, just as I’ve forgotten the name of his book.

I would send you a copy of my recent long reply, and its enclosures, to IRS, except, it is so expensive to put together and post. If you have any interest in looking at it, Don Boroughs may still have the copy I sent to him, asking that it be passed on to Andrew Popper, Kevin Whitelaw, and Mortimer Zuckerman. Or, of course, he may not.

Sincerely,
Karen Kline
